Report issued by the RTVE 2 (22/06/2013) about the Almaden Mining Park, conducted by Jacinto Antón that runs through the facts and events that have occurred, mainly in Spain between the XVth and XXth centuries and that "have laid the foundation for what we are today".

The Almadén Mines (Ciudad Real, Spain), declared World Heritage by UNESCO (RTVE).

The Almadén mines were added to the UNESCO's list of World Heritage. The Committee recognised their value as the largest mercury mines in the world, and as unique examples of exploitation of this metal throughout the centuries. In the same fashion, they highlighted that the mines preserve a rich material heritage, showing the different stages of scientific development applied to extract this mineral.
